Audex W System

Structured from a blend of exfoliated vermiculite, mica and white Portland cement, Audex W is specifically designed for applications in ‘green buildings’ where high thermal conductivity and acoustic control are prerequisites.


Environmentally friendly buildings can be designed so that concrete floor slabs are used as a ‘heat sink’ which later redistribute stored heat.

Audex W possess the highest thermal conductivity value of all of the Audex products, 0.225W/m°K @ ambient – and is therefore particularly sympathetic to this design philosophy.

Audex W is available in white and may also be applied at a reduced thickness where a simulated acoustic, low-cost decorative finish is required.
