Water, together with Firespray International's Biocidal White or Black Emulsion (or alternative coloured biocidal emulsion is added on site). The biocidal emulsion is only added to the final finishing coat, typically 2mm in thickness.

The mixed material is spray applied in a series of coats to give an even level surface of minimum thickness 10mm. Any render coat must be at least 5 days old prior to application of the Audex System
Drying Requirements
It is essential that adequate ventilation is provided to enable Audex to dry out both during and after application. In cases then this cannot be achieved by leaving doors and windows open (eg in wet winter months), dehumidfiers, heating and fans may be required to circulate and exhaust the moist air to the outside. NOTE: Heating systems that generate large quantities of water vapour should be avoided
Cleaning and Maintenance
The Audex system requires little maintenance. Audex may be vacuumed with a soft brush. Care should be taken to avoid damaging the textured surface. Redecoration may be undertaken, with a further coat of the appropriately coloured Audex system or, alternatively, with a coat of Firespray International's Biocidal Emulsion paint, applied by airless spray.
