Chacherngsao – Microchip technology factory – Environmentally friendly fire protection

At Chacherngsao, environmentally friendly fire protection was required to safeguard this multi-million dollar microchip technology factory. In addition to ensuring the minimisation of pollutants, in both application and servicing of the fire protection system, other stipulations included that the resulting ducting and smoke extraction was cost-effective, easy to install and technically superior. Because the factory operates around the clock, any fire protection installed has to be durable and maintenance free, as opportunities for repair work are minimal.

A Flamebar BW11 fire protection system was chosen as it is the only system capable of meeting the criteria laid down by the owners, consultants and contractors. Providing an environmentally friendly solution, Flamebar BW11 is fully tested to British Standard BS476: Part 24, with inspection possible by trained consultants at ground level, minimising disruption to the operation of the factory.
